The meeting was called to
order by President, J. Priestner.
After the corrections to the
May minutes were noted, D. Carney made a motion to accept the
minutes as corrected and seconded by J. Gladfelter.
Treasurers Report was given by
G. Miller. A motion to accept the report was made by T. Pesano
and seconded by B. Sangrey.
Governors Report was given by
Dave.
Dave went over the various
upcoming events both NCCC and local. ( Please see the clubs web
page or the events calendar in newsletter for more details).
He also explained how to go
onto the NCCC website to view up and coming events. (www.ernccc.org)
Additional Awards: (from the
Awards Banquet)
Award for 2 Fun Events was
given to K. Stanley for his part in planning the Holiday Party
and the Sweigart Museum cruise.
Outstanding Service Award:
Hurley's.
(This is a not competitor
award, always helping out.)
Special Award was given to
Jack and Karen for:
1st Autocross
overall, 2nd Overall in Men’s, and 1st
Overall in Ladies and Overall Worker.
Vice President's Report: Was
given by Bob.
Birthdays and Anniversaries
for June were recognized.
Thank you notes were read from
D. Bower for the planter as well as a thank you from Spina
Bifida for the monetary donation from the fly-in at the
Harrisburg Airport.

May 30, 2008: Yellow Breeches
- Jim and Matt recapped the event.
June 1, 2008: Gettysburg
Rallye - K. Priestner recapped the event.
There were 32 cars, the most
ever, with 17 cars from CVCC. Karen recognized the winners from
the event. Karen made a request for CVCC to donate $400 to
Autism. A motion was made by J. Wolf and seconded by D. Walter.
Motion carried.
June 15, 2008: Big Spring
Double AutoX. G. Wolf reported that he would like to set up
Saturday evening June 14th at 5:00 pm. Registration
on the 15th opens at 8:00 am with a drivers meeting
at 8:45 am.
Lots of help would be
appreciated.
June 28, 2008: Judging School
at George and EJ's home. Class will begin at 10:00 am.
Come early for coffee and
donuts. There will also be lunch. This will help you to better
understand what cars are being judged on at the shows.
July 3, 2008: J. Ludt reported
that the club will be participating in the Summerfair parade.
The club is to meet at the Weis Market parking lot between 5:45
- 6:00 pm.
July 11, 2008: This will be
the clubs annual picnic, meeting night. The picnic will be held
again at Mike and Elaine’s home. This is being scheduled for a
Friday evening this year so that everyone can party and have a
good time. There will be no meeting on July 3rd.
Everyone is requested to bring a covered dish - with something
in it! Also, bring your swimsuits for swimming.
July 19, 2008: Graham Motors
Fun Show. Marlin reported that this will be a double sanctioned
show with judging for the Corvettes as well as a Classic Street
Car Show. He is in need of Auction items from businesses and
would appreciate the membership working together to get these
auction items. The money earned from this show will again go to
the Home Visitation Nurses Service of the Elks Lodge.
Registration forms will be
available on the Web Site.
The show will be over by 3:00
pm and then the club will cruise to the Bass Pro store at the
Harrisburg
East Mall. This shows proceeds
will go to the Diabetics Assoc.
August 2, 2008: Carl Strayer
reported on the Mini Grand Prix (Go Karts) to be held at the
Elizabethtown, Masonic Lodge. He is in need of about 30 members
to help. This is a fund raiser for CVCC.
August 3, 2008: Annual CVCC
Party at the Walter's home. More details to follow.
August 22 - 24, 2008:
Corvettes at Carlisle. Dave reported that Red, White and Blue
Corvettes are being requested for the parade. More information
to follow.
NEW BUSINESS:
B. Sangrey reported that he is
planning a Garage Tour Cruise to be schedule in September.
More details to follow.
K. Priestner reported that she
had Recipe Books for sale to benefit the Autism Group.

practice will be held on Friday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Proceeds from this show will
go to the Chip Miller Foundation. Check the website for more

Chevrolet Show:
Marlin reported that this show
is for Corvettes only. J. McKinney is chairing this event with
Dave helping with organizing. More details will follow in the
