Thursday, July 3rd.  

Carlisle Summerfair Parade.  We have been invited to participate again this year.  We will meet in the Weis Store parking lot on the corner of High Street and Spring Garden Street between 5:45 and 6:00 P.M. and go as a group to our staging area.  No need to sign up just show up if you would like to attend.  If you would like to decorate your car for the parade you may do so.  We ARE NOT allowed to bring candy to throw to the children.  So please abide by the Parade rules. 

Friday, July 11th.  

Monthly CVCC membership meeting at the home of Mike and Elaine.  This will be CVCC’s annual Picnic Meeting starting at 6:30 PM.  The club will furnish meat, rolls and beverages.  Please bring a covered dish to share and a lawn chair.  (PA-100)

Tuesday, July 15th.   

Monthly CVCC Board meeting starting at 7:00 PM.  This will be at Hoss's Steak and Sea in Carlisle.

Saturday, July 19th.   

CVCC Fun Show at Graham Motor Company in Carlisle.  (75)

Bass Pro Shop Cruise-In  at Bass Pro Shops starting at 4:00 PM.  You can attend Graham and join the caravan of Vetes at Bass Pro Shops.  It is for charity (diabetes).  (50)

       Friday, August 1st.  

Mini Grand Prix Party & Rules Review at the home of C. Strayer.  It all starts around 6:00 PM and involves food and beverage and a review of what is expected of a worker at the Mini Grand Prix the following day.  Whether you are a novice or a veteran, this will be a good event to make.  (50)

       Saturday, August 2nd.  

Mini Grand Prix at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Please be there by 7:30 AM.  To get to the Village on the day of the event, take Route 441 (south from Middletown and north from Columbia).  Drive to the general area of Bruner's Island, where Route 241 intersects Route 441.  Turn east (away from the Susquehanna River).  The Village is located on the west side of Elizabethtown.  Therefore, before you enter Elizabethtown, look for the Masonic Village on your left.  You should be on Bainbridge Street of Elizabethtown when you see the Village.  It will be a let turn into the Masonic Village from Route 241/Bainbridge Street.  For further information, contact Carl Strayer.  (200)

Sunday, August 3rd.

CVCC Family Picnic at Dave & Sally's.   Come at Noon for swimming or at 4:00 PM for the meal.  Bring a covered dish (appetizer, veggie or dessert), a lawn chair, a swim suit and a big smile.  (50)

Monthly CVCC membership meeting at the Elks in Carlisle starting at 7:30 PM.  (PA-100)

Tuesday, August 19th.   

Monthly CVCC Board meeting starting at 7:00 PM.  Preceding the board meeting, the club trailer will be setup at the Carlisle Fairgrounds for Corvettes at Carlisle.  Thereafter, the board meeting will be held at a location to be named in Carlisle for the meeting.

August 22^nd, 23^rd & 24^th.   

Corvettes at Carlisle.   On Sunday CVCC will be demonstrating an AutoX to the attendees at Corvettes at Carlisle.

Garage Tours.  This will be a tour of several super garages in the area where personal collections closed to the public may be seen.  The tour will conclude at Lance Miller's garage to see his Corvette collection (inherited from Chip).  The event is limited to 100 attendees and will have a charge of $25 per person.  The proceeds will be donated to the Chip Miller Foundation.  Contact B. Monthly CVCC Board meeting starting at 7:00 PM.  This will be at Scotties Beef and Reef in Mechanicsburg.

Saturday, September 20th.   

CVCC Fall Fun Show at H&H Chevrolet.  It's CVCC's 10th Annual Fall Fun Show at H & H Chevrolet in Shippensburg.  It is a club sanctioned event and will be held rain or shine.  In addition to the show, there will be games, food, DJ, a silent auction and a lot of fun.  For more info and to register, click on the link below.  (75)

CVCC Fall Cruise  to Renovo.  This will be the 60th anniversary of the Flaming Foliage Festival and Parade in Renovo, PA.  The parade will feature the young ladies who are competing for the title of "Miss Flaming Foliage".  And this year CVCC Corvettes will carry the aspiring contestants in the parade.  To do this, 35 Corvettes are needed.  Each Corvette must have an open top; i.e., convertible or removable top.  Please contact J. Paul by September 4th if you can volunteer.  Details will be provided after you sign up.  (50)

Saturday, October 18th.

Farmer's Fair Parade.  Dillsburg.  We will meet at a location TBD and at a time TBD.  You may decorate your car for Halloween.  (50)
