The meeting was called to
order by President, J. Priestner.
With no additions or
corrections, a motion by E. Hare, seconded by J. McKinney was
made to accept the March meeting minutes.
Treasurer's Report
was given by Gary. A motion to accept the report was made
by S. Walter and seconded by M. Breen.
Governors Report was
given by Dave.

Club, State College - Triple Concours
There was a discussion to
purchase 10 - $15.00 passes for the Hershey Hill Climb. A
motion was made by M. Ludt and seconded by Dave. B. Bowen
made an addition to the motion to purchase the tickets and
distribute the passes at cost to any club member that wanted to
attend with the money going back to the club. Motion
carried. The club canopy will be set up and members can
park their cars together there. Motion passed.
April 24-27, 2008 - The club
received four passes. These passes will be given to four members
to collect parts from anyone who has parts they want to sell.
The four people are: D. Walter - Mechanicsburg Area; M. Ludt -
Boiling Springs/South of Carlisle Area; S. Gutshall -
Carlisle/North of Carlisle and B. Barnhart - Shippensburg area.
Club members can bring parts to sell, but the club requests that
you give 10% back to the club.
Vice President’s Report was
given by B. Bowen.
Rita Wable is recovering from
a minor heart attack. A card to sign was passed throughout the
membership. Please keep Rita in your prayers.

Cruisers and Waxers Report

Speed Events was
given by S. Gutshall.
He encouraged all members to
come out to the fairgrounds on Saturday, April 5th.
The first event is scheduled
for June 8th with practice on June 5th.

Doc Holiday Comedy Club:
Report was given by G. Wolf. Thirty-five persons attended.
Everyone had a
great time.
Bowling Challenge:
G. Andreas reported that CVCC did not do as well as in the past.
Three years ago, CVCC won over
York CC. Last year, again CVCC won again but this year with more
people showing up, the club did not do as well.
NASCAR Simulator:
M. Baldwin reported that it was the most fun anyone could have
for only $5.00.
G. Miller was the big
winner. He would like to schedule more of these events
over the winter months.
Dyno Day:
J. Fusco reported the new date.
Awards Banquet:
B. Grove reported that door
prizes are still needed. If you have anything to donate or
can get a door prize, please let him know. Reservations
were still being accepted tonight.
Pocono Weekend Report:
Dave reported that he had one student spot open.
G. Miller asked for workers to
sign-up.
May 3, 2008:
Young Eagle Flight Party - For persons with special needs -
10:00 am - 3:00 pm. B. Bowen reported that plane rides are
given and also rides in the Corvettes. Meet at Bob Evans, New
Cumberland at 8:00 am. A very worthwhile experience for
all.
May 31, 2008:
K. Priestner reported that the Third Annual Gettysburg Rallye
through the Battlefield had been scheduled. A driver and
navigator are given a set of directions and questions to find
the answers ending up at The Appalachian Brewing Company for
lunch. The club will meet at Ruby Tuesdays at 10:00 am and
go from there. More details at the May meeting.
Winch:
Several bids were received and the final bid accepted was
$180.00 from T. Haas. A motion to accept the bid was made
by B. Grove and seconded by L. Kaiser.
A motion to adjourn was made

B. Bowen suggested to meet at
8:30 am at Bob Evans for Breakfast. It was suggested that
we give $1,000 from the Parade and Homecoming monies to Spina
Bifida. Further discussion will follow at the regular May
club meeting.

Marlin reported this show is scheduled for October 11th.
