meeting was called to order by President J. Priestner.
A
motion was made by L. Loser, seconded by K. Priestner to accept
the Secretary’s report for September.
Motion passed.
G.
Miller gave the Treasurers report.
A motion was made by C. Anderson, seconded by D. Warner
to accept the Treasurers report.
Motion passed.
D.
Walter gave the Governors report.
All activities for October are on our web site.

A motion was made by M. Hurley, seconded by R. Wable to
accept Ron into the club. Motion
passed.

A motion was made by M. Strayer, seconded by B. Barnhart
to accept Roy into the club.

Loser reported on the Golf Outing we had in August.
We had 46 golfers and 28 hole sponsors.
Bruce asked for a motion to donate $1000.00 from the
proceeds to the Crater Willie Foundation.
D. Walter made the motion which was seconded by R. Wable.

M.
Baldwin ask for $500.00 from the proceeds to go to the Furry
Friends Foundation. Motion
made by M. Baldwin, seconded by D. Walter.
Motion passed.
$2,500
will go to Spina Bifida.
Thanks
to Bruce & Linda and Mike for a job well done again on this
event.
E.
Hare gave his report on the H&H Fun Show.
He asked and made the motion to donate $1,500.00 from
this show to The American Cancer Society.
Motion seconded by J. Kelso.
Motion passed. Ed & Mary also thanked all the workers for this show.
The help was very much appreciated.
The
“Miles for Miracles” event which will be held October 13th
is for motorcycle and car enthusiasts.
This is being held at the Appalachian Harley Davidson
Dealership on the Carlisle Pike.
9:00 – 3:00. This is to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.
M. Ludt made a motion for our club to match the pledges
for this event, but not to exceed $300.00.
Motion seconded by J. Kelso.
Motion passed.
M.
Baldwin and J. Newman collected donations at the H&H Show
for this event, and
made out quite well.
Thank
you to the Sangrey’s for the great tour of the Lancaster
County Bridges. This
was very well put together.
There were 23 cars attending.
Thanks
to K. Stanley for his well organized tour to the Car Museum and
the Dinner Cruise on Lake Raystown.
He had 20 cars attending.
Next
month we will be electing New Officers and Board members for out
club. Please plan
to attend and vote.

accepted the nomination for club secretary.

company Vette Works wants to sponsor CVCC giving a 10% discount
to club members.

Next year the contact will be G. Mitchell.
This helps to defray the cost of mailings.

Board Meeting
October
16th, 2007
The
meeting was held at Scotties in Mechanicsburg.
President
J. Priestner called the meeting to order.
The
Board discussed the following items:
Club
Photos
The
Holiday Party – The party will be January 26th at
the Holly Inn, downstairs in their banquet room.
The Band is booked.
We will have the same band as last year, “The Shades of
Dawn”. Judy is
working with the folks at the Inn on the price and menu.
The Holly Inn also has rooms available for anyone wishing
to spend the night.
The
Board went over our sanctions for 2008.
Jack
has asked Judy to order sweatshirts and put the club logo on
them. She will have
some of them at the next monthly meeting.
REMINDER
NOVEMBER
MONTHLY MEETING IS THE ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND BOARD MEMBERS.
PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND.

DUES ARE NOW DUE.
Don’t
forget you can use your club money for dues.
