CVCC Monthly Meeting

July 12th, 2007

The monthly meeting was called to order by President J. Priestner.

The meeting was a picnic meeting held at the home of Mike & Elaine.  Thanks to Mike & Elaine for all their hard work in order to get ready for this meeting.

A motion was made by R. Wolf, seconded by D. Carney to accept the minutes for June.  Motion passed.

Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report was made by E. Hare, seconded by EJ.  Motion passed.

Dave gave the Governor’s report.  All activities are on the website and Dave has flyers for all of them.  Contact Dave for a flyer.

Dave reported that the Hershey Vintage Hill Climb will be next May 3 & 4 for those interested.

Second Readings:

Randall Inskip sponsored by C. Strayer.  He has a 2007 Pewter Convertible.  A motion was made by M. Bobb, seconded by D. Carney.  Motion passed.

John & Fred Schnibben sponsored by R. Slarb.  They have a 1965 White Convertible.  A motion was made by L. Loser, seconded by D. Troupe.  Motion passed.

First Reading:  

Roger Sturtz & Judy Zolensky sponsored by G. Miller.  They have a 1995 orange stingray and a 1977 blue coupe.  Second reading will be at the August meeting.

B. Loser reported that he still needs hole sponsors for our charity golf tournament August 18^th at the Mayapple Golf Course.  He also needs players so invite your friends for a round of golf that day.  Contact him for flyers.

B. Sangrey will have a sign-up sheet at the August meeting for those interested in going on the Lancaster covered bridge tour he is doing on September 9^th.  The tour is 1 ½ hours.  This should be very enjoyable especially to cruise in the Amish Country.

Keith was not at the meeting to talk about his September 22^nd cruise, but the information has been on the web site.

I did not get all the Birthday’s and Anniversaries for July so here are the ones I could hear.

CVCC Board Meeting

July 17th, 2007

The meeting was held at Scotties in Mechanicsburg.

President Jack Priestner called the meeting to order.

Old Business:

The following items were discussed by the board.  

July 15^th Jim Thorpe Cruise

July 21^st Gettysburg Rallye

July 22^nd Double Autocross.  Dave said everything is ready.

August 5^th SCCA Autocross – York Fairgrounds.  Everything set for this also.

August 18^th Golf Outing.  We are in need of Golfers.

Sept 9^th B. Sangrey’s Lancaster Covered Bridge Tour.

Sept. 22^nd Car and Boat Cruise Keith has planned.

Club shirts.  Judy reported sales are good and she has 3 shirts ordered with names that the folks have not picked up as yet.

New Business:

Nissley Winery Tour.  J. Paul  said the only date the winery had open was August 18^th.  Jack will talk to him about this.

Corvettes at Carlisle

York County Corvette Club’s invite to “Peach Run” August 12^th.

The Board also looked at the club picture proofs.  They will be available to view at the next club meeting.
