Monthly Meeting

The meeting was called to order at
7:30 pm by President J. Priestner.
A motion was made by D. Walter and
seconded by G. Miller to accept the secretary’s minutes
for February. Motion
passed.
The
governors report was given by D. Walter.
Upcoming
events:
April 1:
Bel Air Corvette Club is having a double concours.
April 8:
New members meeting at 5:45 before regular monthly
meeting.
April 14:
CVCC Awards Banquet at the Elks.

Pocono Driving School
April 22:
Pocono T shirts are $15 each.

Events:
NCCC Convention registration is now
open. Several
people will be caravanning to Nashville and Bowling Green to
the Corvette Museum. If you wish to do this, please contact D. Walter.
CVCC will be providing timing for
the SCCA event at the York Fairgrounds on August 5th.
See Dave if you are interested in helping or learning
about the timing system.

A motion was made by K. Priestner, seconded by J.
Kelso to accept the Bower’s into the club.
Motion passed.

The Segeda’s have a 2006 Silver Coupe.
A motion was made by Linda Loser, seconded by Lou
Wolf to accept the Segeda’s into the club.
Motion passed.
The Kuhn’s.
Sponsored by K. Berger.
The Kuhn’s have a 1999 Silver Coupe.
Motion was made by M. Baldwin, seconded by L. Kiser
to accept the Kuhn’s into the club.
Motion passed.
First Reading:

He has a 1997 Torch Red Coupe.
Other
Business:
A motion was made by D. Walter for
the club to match all donations made by club members to
Special Needs Children at the upcoming bowling challenge.
Motion passed.
J. Ludt is investigating a trip to
Las Vegas from July 19 to 24, 2007.
It will include five nights hotel stay, airfare from
Baltimore and transfers. Pricing is between $596 and $760 per person, depending on the
hotel that is chosen. She
is also investigating bus transportation to the airport.
Jack is checking for a tour of the
Harley-Davidson plant.
J. Bower has volunteered to take
over the position of newsletter editor.
T. Heckeer has resigned this position.
G. Wolf is investigating a club trip
to Bube’s Brewery.
B. Barnhart suggested an event to
teach new members or other interested members autoX.
He is investigating a site and date.
New
Events:
August 11:
Northeast All Corvette Picnic.
Held in Central New York.
Slated as a Corvette Woodstock.
jack has the info on this event.
J. McCarthy discussed the need for
members to send updates of upcoming events to him to be
posted on the website.
He also is requesting pictures of events that members
attend so that they may also be posted. Our website had the club calendar and NCCC events posted.
It also has links to NCCC events’ flyers.

K. Priestner will have a sign up
sheet at the next meeting for members who wish to conduct
monthly social events, such as ice cream cruises, etc.
D. Walter thanked C. Carlson for
arranging the trip to Atlantic City.
A motion was made by everyone and
seconded by everyone to adjourn the meeting.

Board Meeting
March
20, 2007
The meeting was held at Scotties in
Mechanicsburg.
President Jack Priestner called the
meeting to order.
Again
the Awards Banquet was discussed and everything is ready.
ANOTHER REMINDER: BRING ONE DOOR PRIZE PER PERSON TO
THIS EVENT.
Dave
reported once again the Pocono Driving School is filled.
22 tee shirts were ordered by the participants.
Mike reported we are good for workers.
The
board discussed the East Region Spectacular.
Concerns were expressed whether we have enough wiring
for the timing equipment.
Gary made a motion to purchase another set of
connections and a power strip, this was seconded by Marlin.
The
club trailer has passed inspection this time.
We will be purchasing new tires for the trailer.
Gary
announced our AutoX for July 22 at the Big Spring school has
been approved. We
are all set for this.
The
flyers are out for the Holly Inn Show to be held May 26th.
Contact Dave or download one from the web site.
J.
McKinney will schedule a night for questions and answers
that Jack approached him about.
Joan
will be doing our club newsletter.
Hopefully we answered her questions and helped her
along with this job. She
has some great ideas and will put them to use.
We
will be changing the June Board Meeting to June 26 because
of the NCCC Convention.
It
was suggested to the Board to look into a lifetime
membership for CVCC at the Corvette Museum.
We already have a brick in the entrance so lifetime
membership was voted down.
The cost would have been $2500.00
Gary
has contacted Bube’s Brewery and reserved seat’s for 30
people Friday May 11, 7:00 P.M.

This is a really fun time.
We have done this before and everyone loved it.
Gary will have direction information at the next
meeting.
