CVCC Board Meeting

March 20, 2007

The meeting was held at Scotties in Mechanicsburg.

President Jack Priestner called the meeting to order.

Again the Awards Banquet was discussed and everything is ready.  ANOTHER REMINDER: BRING ONE DOOR PRIZE PER PERSON TO THIS EVENT.

Dave reported once again the Pocono Driving School is filled.  22 tee shirts were ordered by the participants.  Mike reported we are good for workers.

The board discussed the East Region Spectacular.  Concerns were expressed whether we have enough wiring for the timing equipment.  Gary made a motion to purchase another set of connections and a power strip, this was seconded by Marlin.

The club trailer has passed inspection this time.  We will be purchasing new tires for the trailer.

Gary announced our AutoX for July 22 at the Big Spring school has been approved.  We are all set for this.

The flyers are out for the Holly Inn Show to be held May 26th.  Contact Dave or download one from the web site.

J. McKinney will schedule a night for questions and answers that Jack approached him about.

Joan will be doing our club newsletter.  Hopefully we answered her questions and helped her along with this job.  She has some great ideas and will put them to use.

We will be changing the June Board Meeting to June 26 because of the NCCC Convention.

It was suggested to the Board to look into a lifetime membership for CVCC at the Corvette Museum.  We already have a brick in the entrance so lifetime membership was voted down.  The cost would have been $2500.00

Gary has contacted Bube’s Brewery and reserved seat’s for 30 people Friday May 11, 7:00 P.M.  If you wish to attend call and make your reservations.  717-653-2057 and tell them you are with CVCC.  This is a really fun time.  We have done this before and everyone loved it.  Gary will have direction information at the next meeting.

Meeting adjourned

The next Board meeting will be held April 17 at Scotties in Mechanicsburg 7:00 P.M.

 Respectfully Submitted,

Judy

CVCC Secretary
