Saturday, August 4th.

CVCC Family Picnic at Dave & Sally's.   Come at 1:00 PM for swimming or at 4:30 PM for the meal.  Bring a covered dish (appetizer or vegie with the meat or dessert), a lawn chair, a swim suit and a big smile.  (50)

Sunday, August 12th

YCCC "Peach Run".  CVCC has been invited to join the York County Corvette Club on a cruise spanning two states.  We will meet at Rutters at the intersection of Route 39 and  Route 116 at 7:30 AM (west of York) and again at the interchange of Route 30 and Route 15 (east of Gettysburg) at 8:00 AM.  There will be a picnic breakfast (bring your own) at Catoctin Mountain Park.  After that we will visit peach orchards and the Leidysburgh Peach Festival.  Next we will cruise to Moghansville for some excellent ice cream.  This will be a real peachy day and an opportunity to sample and buy peaches fresh from the tree, peach muffins, peach pie, peach cobbler, peach ice cream, and you get the idea.  It will be a good cruise whether your vette is old or new to give it a healthy run.  It will be a slower run over back mountain roads and just be a fun day.  Contact Karen if you wish to have more info.  (50)

Saturday, August 18th.  

CVCC’s Second Annual Golf Outing at Mayapple Golf Links in Carlisle.  Shotgun start at 1:00 PM.  Four Person Scramble format.  Entry fee of $65 per player includes round of golf, cart, range balls, team prizes, door prizes, food and refreshments (following golf).  Check in at 12:00 PM.  (50)

Tuesday, August 21st.

Monthly CVCC Board meeting starting at 7:00 PM.  This will be at Scotties Beef & Reef in Mechanicsburg.

August 24, 25, 26

Corvettes at Carlisle.  Join the fellow club members and enjoy one of the largest convocations of Corvettes in the USA.  CVCC will have its club trailer and amenities on the fairgrounds.  Join us any of the three days.  (50 per day) 

Sunday, August 26th

CVCC AutoX at Corvettes at Carlisle.  Help the club demonstrate what auto crossing is all about to the attendees at Corvettes at Carlisle.  This is a non-sanctioned event.  See Dave if you can help.  (50)
