Monthly Meeting
September
7th,

The
meeting was called to order by President Ludt.
Marlin
presented our Club’s check for the Chip Miller Foundation
to Judy Miller and Lance Miller in the Auction tent at
Corvettes At Carlisle Saturday Morning.
Marlin
and M.
Hurley presented the local Red Cross with our check for
$1000.00. Sheri
Davis was at our meeting to accept this check.
She said this money would go to their building fund
because they had to move out of their building to make way
for another warehouse.
A
motion was made by R.
Wable, seconded by M.
Bobb to accept the Secretary's
Minutes for August. Motion
passed.

Miller gave the Treasurer's
report. A

Signs donated the large checks we use to present our charity
moneys. They
are located on the Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg.
Mike & Darlene would like to recognize them for
this donation. So

EVENTS:
Dave
& Sally’s Picnic:
Again everyone had a wonderful time.
We had our annual rain storm, but it didn’t hamper
the festivities.
Thank
you to those folk’s who helped set-up and take down the
canopy etc., at Corvettes at Carlisle.
Also thanks to EJ & George for arranging our
reservations at Market Cross Pub for Saturday night.

Priestner for running the timing equipment for the Rallye
Sunday and also thanks to everyone who helped in the rain
that day.
October

have several schools that have asked for cars for their
homecomings. We
have been telling them we cannot get anyone to do these and
referring them to other clubs.

The
meeting was opened by President Ludt.
Dave
announced 3 of our sanction dates.
May
19, 2007 Holly
Inn Show

We
will discuss the rest of our sanctions at the next meetings.
Gary
is checking on an alternate lot for our auto crosses.
SCCA
AutoX- This will be at the York Fair Grounds.
The SCCA people have contacts there and ask us if we
would do it there.
Dave
will be looking into purchasing a new tarp for the club’s
use. Most
everyone knows we need a new one.
The old one leaks.
He will have the information at the next club
meeting.
Keith
and Judy are working on our Holiday Party.
They have the place now booked.
Skip is acquiring the band for the evening.
They will have more information later.
Keith
reported on the cruise to East Broad Top Railroad.
Everyone had a excellent time, especially the food at
the restaurant. Thanks
to Keith for another job well done.
Ed
will have a report at the next meeting on the H&H Show.
Everyone enjoyed themselves once again.
October
21 is the annual Rufe Show.
This show includes Corvettes and classic cars.
The
evening of October 21 is the annual Farmers Day parade in
Dillsburg. We
have again been invited to attend this parade as a group.
We will meet at Lefever Bros. Chevy garage and go to
the meeting place as a group.
The meeting time will be announced at the next Club
meeting.
Dave has information
on the club selling the Bonus Book for 2007.
He will give the presentation at the monthly meeting.
