July 23rd is the SCCA AutoX at Pharo’s Truck stop.  We do not need as many workers as we do for our event because the SCCA people have to work to run.  We can also run at this event.  We will be setting up the night before also at 4:30 P.M.  Please let Dave know if you can help with this event.

Judy is going to set up another trip to Las Vegas.  I would like to know if anyone besides the folks that came to her after the meeting would like to go.  If will be next JULY (2007).  I want to go to the travel agent after the July meeting.  It will be 5 nights coming home morning of day 6.  That’s all I know about it now until I find out how many really want to go.

A motion was made by Melissa Bobb, seconded by EJ Andreas and passed by everyone to adjourn the meeting.

REMEMBER NEXT MONTH’S MEETING IS A PICNIC MEETING AT THE HECKER’S.

Respectfully Submitted,

Judy

CVCC Board Meeting

June 20th, 2006

The meeting was held at Scotties Beef & Reef in Mechanicsburg.

Vice President Jack P. opened the meeting.

Dave reminded everyone of the SCCA AutoX we will be doing July 23rd at Pharo’s Truck Stop.

Bruce, Mike & Phil attended with information on the Golf Tournament they are organizing.  Bruce will have all the information at the July meeting.  A motion was made by Judy, seconded by Dave to give the profits from this event to Spina Bifida.  Motion passed.  After listening & reviewing the information Bruce presented to the board Skip Gutshall made a motion to go ahead with this event.  This was seconded by Mike, motion passed by everyone.

The Hurley’s and Priestner’s have come up with ideas for new member packets.  A sample was shown to the board members.  They would also like to devise an event submission form.  From this form, we can get the info e-mailed easily to the newsletter editor and webmaster to get the information about the events published efficiently.  The board has approved for them to move forward with this.

Remember the Detailing School is July 16th at the Andreas’s.

The Priestner’s would like to up date the Policy & Procedures.  This will be brought up for discussion at the next monthly meeting.

We have 1 sanction left and Karen would like to do a rally with this.  This also will be discussed at the monthly meeting.

Dave & Sally will have their annual family picnic August 19th at their home.  More details later.

The next board meeting will be held July 18th at Scotties Beef & Reef in Mechanicsburg.  7:00 P.M.

Respectfully Submitted,
