We will schedule an evening to get with L. Kiser to hook up the autoX equipment and make sure everything works.

The Camp Hill Police are having a first annual car show.  They have contacted us to see if we would like to participate.  This is Memorial Day weekend 29th.  We need someone to coordinate this with club members.  If you will do this contact Marlin.

June 3rd is the Masonic Mini Grand Prix.  C. Strayer is chairman.  Rain date is June 4th.  Friday Evening before the event you are invited to Carl’s home to go over what is needed there.  Contact Carl if you wish to help.  He did send a sign-up sheet around at the meeting.

July 6th monthly meeting is our annual picnic meeting.  This will again be held at Mike & Tracy Hecker’s home.  Bring a covered dish.

EJ & George are going to have a detailing school.  There has been interest in this.  They will have more details at next months meeting.

The Board has been discussing raising CVCC dues by $5.00 starting 2007.  This would make dues for a couple $55.00, single $40.00.  This was brought to the membership meeting.  A motion was made by M. Hurley, seconded by K. Cless, the motion was passed by a voice vote.

CVCC has again been asked to participate in the Carlisle Summer Fair Parade.  We will be doing this.  It will be Friday June 30th.  We meet at the Weis Grocery Store parking lot on the corners of High & Spring Garden Streets between 5:45 & 6:15 P.M.  Let’s give Carlisle a good showing.  Please do not bring candy or anything else to throw from the car.

August 17 Hershey Museum is having a cruise-in night.

This is the last year for T. Hecker to be Newsletter Editor.  Please give this some thought and consider the position for 2007.

This is also the last year for Judy to be club secretary.  Also give this some thought and express your interest at the September nominating meeting.

A motion was made by K. Preistner, seconded by J. Paul and passed by everyone to adjourn the meeting.

Respectfully Submitted,

CVCC Board Meeting

May 16th, 2006

The meeting was called to order by President M. Ludt.

G. Miller bought new batteries for the old radios and is sending two back to the company to be repaired.  These will be ready for our autox in June.

The board discussed the Pocono Driving School.  Everything went well despite the lovely rainy weather.

Marlin received an e-mail from Mike Filanowski about a parade Messiah Village is having for their residents.  This is going to be held Friday June 16th from 10-11 A.M.  They requested 10-12 cars.  There will be a sign-up sheet at the next monthly meeting.  Hopefully we can get the number of cars they need.  Lunch will be provided.

The board discussed new member orientation packets.  The Hurley’s and Priestner’s are working on this.

Keith is working on a cruise for this September.  When he gets this together he will fill us in on the details.

We would like to have a good representation of our club at the Carlisle Summer Fair Parade on June 30th.  Again we will meet at the Weis Market on the corner of Spring Garden & High Streets between 5:45 & 6:15 P.M.

So far we have had no response to the request of someone from York to take over coordinating the Fox 43 Parades.  Remember, folks, the money we get from Fox 43 goes to Spina Bifida.  We need someone to do this for their Memorial Day Parade.  Please leave Marlin or D. Chronister know if you will take this over.

The next Board Meeting will be held June 20th at Scotties Beef & Reef in Mechanicsburg.  7:30 P.M.

Respectfully Submitted,

Judy
