Car Report:
Thanks
to EJ & George for bringing the car to the AutoX and
selling tickets. Also thanks to EJ For detailing it.
The
car was taken to the Hagerstown Mall this past weekend.
This was a great effort by J.
Irby to
co-ordinate. We
also want to thank all the people that came to help sell
tickets. We
sold approximately 230 tickets.
We
will be taking the car to Federal Credit Union in New
Cumberland this Saturday to sell tickets.
We will be there from 10:30 – 12:30.
We
would like you to turn any tickets and money you may have so
we know the amount of tickets we will have for Corvettes at
Carlisle.
We
will be setting up the trailer and canopy Tuesday Aug. 23 at
5:30, all help is appreciated.
We
also need a lot of help with the Auto Cross Carlisle
Productions has asked us to do Sunday Aug. 28 at the
Fairgrounds. We
will be taking registrations Friday and Saturday.
If you wish to help, let D.
Walter know. We
also will need people who are experienced in auto crossing
to ride along and give pointers to the people who register.
EJ
is also taking names for anyone who would like to eat with
us at The Market Cross Pub Saturday night after the Corvette
Parade. The
cost is $5.00 per person which you will get back when you
show up there. We
need to have a count very soon for them so please leave EJ
know asap.
B.
Bowen has talked with the Hershey Museum and we will be
meeting there Sept. 11. (He
to leave us know what time as soon as he gets a call back
from them). We will be eating at Pavones afterward. There
will be
a sign-up sheet at the September meeting.
H&H
show Sept. 17th.
This will be one of the best shows ever thanks to the
Hare's.
They have all kinds of fun things to do for this
event. Games,
prizes, etc. So
please all try to attend.
This is a fun show so no need to clean your car all
day. If you
haven’t pre-registered I suggest you do.
The pre-registration gift is a really, really nice
one.
Sept.
24 is our fun Poker Run.
We will meet at Boyd’s Bears just outside
Gettysburg off Route 15.
We want to have the last car out by Noon.
Keith promises a fun time.
Penn
National Race Course has been in touch with Keith and he has
selected November 5 for our outing there.
It will be $23.00 per person.
Keith will have more details soon.
O.C.

you care to go to this event.
The
Wolf's

They will leave us know where to meet next month.

show is also with Classic Cars so if you know of anyone with
a classic car please invite them to participate.
We always invite the Cumberland Valley Classics and
if anyone knows someone that belongs to the Blue Moon
Cruisers please have them invite their club also.
We
are still looking for donations for the annual auction for
this show. Please
