Anniversary Car Report:

Car will be at Forbes Chevrolet for the CPCC Concours.

The Car will also be at our Hooters Concours and at the Hagerstown Mall in July.

Remember if you want tickets to sell.  T. Kenyon distributes tickets to the following people.  J. Ludt Carlisle Area, J. Pasquali Mechanicsburg Area, E. Hare Shippensburg, Chambersburg Area & K. Priestner York County.  You may get tickets from anyone of them at the club meetings also.

The Cless’s have agreed to be the chair people for the 40th Anniversary clothing.  We hope to have a sample shirt by next month’s meeting.

We are now looking for someone to chair and serve on the Charity Committee.

ReCaps:   Mini GP Practice  J. McCarthy reported they went over the rules then the participants practiced.

There were 14 cars that went on the trip to Shanksville .  We also toured the Compas Inn which was very interesting.

The Wable’s would like to know if anyone would be interested in going on a 7 day cruise next April.  There was a show of hands I believe 13 people are interested so far.  If you weren’t at the meeting and would be interested contact them.

REMINDER – Next Month’s Meeting (July 7th) is our annual picnic meeting held at the Hecker’s.  Starts at 6:30.  Please bring a covered dish and lawn chairs.

Corvettes at Carlisle – Aug. 26-28.  Our Club is doing an AutoX this year instead of a Rallye.  $20.00 per hour.  Registration will be at our trailer.

We will also be helping NCCC again this year.  See D. Walter if you are interested.

H&H Show Sept. 17th.  Located at dealership in Shippensburg.  The Hare’s are chairing this event.  They have pre-registration forms available and the forms will also be in the newsletter.  Send your favorite recipe with your registration.  Also they would like items from club members for their silent auction.

G. Wolf spoke about the fall cruise.  Information was passed out about this at the club meeting to those who signed up for this event.

The Rufe Show is Oct. 22.  We also look for donations from members for this show.  We have an auctioneer for the day.  You can get gift certificates from different restaurants or businesses.  Some people go to businesses and ask for a donation of an item.  Marlin & Bill will start collecting them in August, Sept., and before or day of the show.

TO THE NEW MEMBERS.  We ask that you purchase club name tags.  M. Hurley is the contact person.

The meeting was adjourned by everyone.

Respectfully Submitted,

Judy

CVCC Board Meeting

June 21, 2005

The monthly Board meeting was held at Scotties in Mechanicsburg.

The meeting was opened by Marlin.

Marlin reported he paid off the loan on the Anniversary Car 6-21-05.

The car is going to Hagerstown July 23 & 24.  It will be at the classic car show Saturday and in the Hagerstown Mall on Sunday.

Marlin now has hats with the club logo on them.  They are $12.00  He will have them at the Monthly Meeting.

Keith reported we had a good turnout at the Hooters show.

Sunday June 19th AutoX.  We did not have the help we could have, but despite that and some computer glitches we “Got er Done”.  Dave is going to contact Larry and together they will check into getting better software to run our timing equipment at these Auto Crosses.

We have another Auto Cross July 10th at Pharo’s Truck Stop.  It is double Sanctioned.  We hope to have enough help for this event.

Thanks to Ed & Mary and EJ & George for canceling their plans on the 19th to come to the Auto Cross to help us.  It was greatly appreciated.  Karen thanks to you too for helping Judy with registration and timing.

Dave announced their annual club pool party will be August 13.  Bring covered dish, your bathing suit and lawn chairs.  Steaks and drink will be provided.

August:  Corvettes at Carlisle.  We will have registration for the Auto Cross at our tent Friday & Saturday.  We will also need workers for this event which will be held Sunday.

Also Jack wants to remind EVERYONE to make sure you sign the club sign-up sheet for club points.

We have had only a few people sign up for the Yahoo Group e-mail list.  We would like everyone that has e-mail to do this.  Get the information from Karen or Jack.  This will make e-mailing the club members much easier.

The next Board Meeting will be held July 19th 7:00 P.M. at Scotties in Mechanicsburg.

Marlin adjourned the meeting.

Respectfully Submitted,

Judy
