October
23rd is an outing planned by our Social Committee
to the Renaissance Faire
in Mt. Joy, It is 34.95 per person.
If you plan to attend Joan or Faye must have your
money by September 2nd.
You will be leaving the York Galleria Mall at 9:00
A.M.
We
again want to thank John P.
for the use of his business parking lot for our AutoX.
We
also want to thank Keith S.
for taking the time to do the overnight trip to West
Virginia. Everyone who went reported it was a fun trip.
Fred A.
went along and celebrated his 86th birthday.
Ken
S.
has our static clings that is our tribute to Chip Miller for
Corvettes at Carlisle.
If you are planning to take your car and would like
to display one contact Ken.
Also after the Saturday night parade we are planning
to eat at the Market Cross Pub.
If you would like to go along contact EJ, she will be
making reservations.
Sunday
is our club Rallye at Corvettes of Carlisle.
Registration for this will be Saturday at our
trailer.
September
11th we have two events that day.
We need club support for the H&H Show in
Shippensburg and Carl S.
needs help at the Mini GP in Elizabethtown.
The location is the Masonic Homes grounds.
You should be there by 7:30 A.M.
Club members are also invited to Ed & Mary's
after the H&H Show again this year.

Weekend- The host hotel is now sold out.
Our club stays at the Dunes Motor Lodge.

October
16th is the Rufe Fun Show.
We are in need of items for the annual auction.
You can either give them to Marlin, Bill G.
or bring them the day of the show.
We would also like a good showing from the club for
this event. The
Cumberland Valley Classics are invited to this show.
We
now have the permit for the raffle car, and also the
tickets. The
tickets will be available at the September meeting.

is chairperson for distribution and Larry K.
is chairperson for collections.
Judy
has one tote bag left which is not sold.
She has one bag that belongs to Anna.
Will bring them to September meeting.
Can take orders for more if interested.

AUGUST -- MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
August
17th,
2004
The
meeting was called to order by President Sandoe.
The
Board met at Ye Old Ale House in Mechanicsburg.
Hooter’s
Show- All went very well.
Thanks to all who participated.
Everyone loved the show it was fun and very well
organized. Only
had one negative comment.
Thanks to Keith and Ken for hosting a really fun
show. Good Job
Guys.
Food
was great at Dave & Sally’s annual picnic.
Thanks once again to them for hosting this event and
thanks to Carl and
Warrington Farms
for providing the steaks and chicken.
H&H
Show coming up, as well as the Mini Grand Prix in
Elizabethtown. Please
support BOTH of these events.

Reminder
committee members:
Car
Raffle meeting August 25th at the home of the
Grove's.
6:30 P.M.
The
Car Raffle Rules state the person with the winning ticket
may either take the car or $15,000.00 Cash.
We
need to do maintenance on the club trailer. We
are looking for volunteers after the Corvette show at
Carlisle. This
includes taking off the wheels for cleaning, washing and
waxing the trailer cleaning inside.
Contact Marlin if you are willing to help.
The
Board approved to give the
Social Committee
$425.00 for the
Holiday Party to be held in January.
The
next board meeting will be held September 21st at
Ye Olde Ale House in Mechanicsburg at 7:00 P.M.
