The
monthly meeting was opened by President Sandoe.
A
correction was made to the May minutes.
New member Jim has a 1973 Vette not a 1993.
A
motion was made by Dave, seconded by Larry, passed by a
voice vote to accept the May minutes.
Gary
gave the Treasurer’s report.
A motion was made by Brian, seconded by Ronf, passed
by a voice vote to accept the Treasurer’s report.
Bob
Bowen gave the Governor’s report in Dave Walter’s
absence. All

10th is the Muscle Car show at the York
Fairgrounds. YCCC
has an event for Corvettes to enter at this show also.
Friday
June 25th is the New Member Mixer at the home of
EJ & George. Details
and directions will be in the newsletter.
If you were not at the monthly meeting and would like
to attend contact EJ or George.
Their
number is in the club directory.

JULY
MEETING DATE CHANGE

1st is the Summer Fair Parade in Carlisle.
We will meet at the Weis Store (Corner of High &
Spring Garden Sts.) I
believe the time is 6:00 or 6:30.
For those of you who volunteered to drive the Elk
people meet at the Elk’s 6:00.
July
25th is the Triple Sanctioned AutoX at Pharo’s
Truck Stop. Located
off exit 29, 81 south.
Turn left then right to the area.
You
can still sign up for the summer cruise Keith is having July
31 & August 1. Contact
Ken if you wish
to go.
Flyer
in newsletter for the Hooter’s Show which is August 7th.
Please plan to attend to make a good showing for the
club.
August
14th is the annual Pool Party at the home of Dave
& Sally. Bring
a covered dish to this event also.

Mini
Grand Prix in Elizabethtown is also September 11th.
Carl Strayer still needs workers.
The first practice session for this event is July 17th.
He also needs workers for this.
The practice
will be held at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown
starting in the morning.

We
are looking for someone who would like to do a fall cruise.
If interested contact Ken.
Bill,
Marlin, Jim & Dave went to Maryland to look at the 40th
Anniversary car Ken found and talked about at the May
meeting. This
car was in really bad shape.
A motion was made by Neil, seconded by Tim and passed
by a voice vote to purchase the first car that was looked at
with 5700 miles on it.
We
are in the process of arranging to have a 40th
Anniversary Picture taken of the club.
Larry has volunteered to
fly the photographer in his helicopter to take the picture
and Karen Ross will do the write up for Blue Bars magazine.
The
design for the static cling to honor Chip Miller was
submitted by Dave. We
had one made up to show at the meeting and a motion was made
by Marlin, seconded by Tracy, passed by a voice vote to have
this made up to display on our cars for Corvettes at
Carlisle.
A
motion was made by Dick, seconded by Jeff to adjourn the
meeting.
The
CVCC tote bags that John and Anna ordered are in and can be
picked up at the next meeting.
I have extra bags if anyone else wants one.

JUNE -- MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
June
15th,
2004
The Board meeting was held at the Ale House in Mechanicsburg.
President Sandoe called the meeting to order.
Dave
reported on the NCCC Convention.
Ken
said the Brewery Tour was interesting and the Board thanks
Joan and Faye for arranging this event.
July
1st is the Carlisle Summer Fair Parade.
For those of you that are not driving people from the
Elks, you will meet at the Weis Store on the corners of
Spring Garden and High Street at 6:15 P.M.
July
17th is a practice session for the Mini Grand
Prix at the Masonic Village.
Time to be announced.
Car
Raffle: Committee
Chairman Marlin Ludt reported the loan for the car has been
approved. The
car will be purchased within the next few weeks and it will
be at the July meeting at the Hecker’s.
Triple
AutoX: Gary
& Mike are looking for lots and lots of workers for this
event. If you
wish to help please contact one of them.
Hooters
Show: Please
pre-register for this event.
We need to know how many cars for parking spaces.
Corvettes
at Carlisle: Dave has a rough Rallye started.
As far as he knows we will have the same space as
years before. He
will check about getting electric.
Keith’s
Cruise: He has
40 people signed for this.
Still time to sign up if you would like to go.
The next Board meeting
will be July 20th at the Old Ale House in
Mechanicsburg at 7:00 P.M.
