meeting was called to order by President Sandoe.

motion was made by Tracy, seconded by Sally, passed by a
voice vote to accept the secretary's
minutes for the month of April.
Gary
gave the Treasurers report.

passed by a voice vote to accept the treasurer’s report.

June 5th is the next outing at the Appalachian
Brewery Tour.

motion was made by Elaine to Purchase 100 lanyards with the
club name on them, seconded by Bob B. and passed by a voice
vote to make the purchase.
The cost is $1.50 each.
A
ballot was passed to everyone attending this months meeting
to vote whether the club should purchase a 40th
Anniversary corvette to raffle for CVCC’S 40th
Anniversary next year.
The results were 79 to 10 that we should do this.

Awards Banquet.

Spina
Bifida Fly-in. We
gave them their check of $800.00.
The highlight of the day was the helicopter rides
Larry K. gave to these kids. It was very generous of Larry to do this for them.

A
lot of the Corvette Clubs in this area are doing something
to recognize Chip Miller.
A motion was made by Mike H., seconded by Mike H. to
have something made up to honor Chip Miller.
September
11th is the Mini Grand Prix.
Carl Strayer is chair person for this.
If you signed up to help with this event, we are
counting on you to show up.
If you would like to help, contact Carl ASAP.

Weekend Oct. 1-3 All shows will start at the Convention
center. You can
register for the events on line. They will be on their web site May 15th.
Free State Corvette Club.
The
Carlisle Elk’s approached us to sponsor a hole for their
charity golf tournament.
A motion was made by Dave W., seconded by Harold S.,
passed by a voice vote to give the Elk’s $100.00 for their
charity.
Judy
L. has tote bags with the club
name on them for sale.
She is taking orders.
If you wish to purchase one contact her.
$12.00 ea.
EJ
& George will have a new member mixer sometime next
month. They
will leave us know the date.

L. also has a table spoon and carving knife which was left
at her home after the July picnic meeting last year.

The meeting was opened by
President Sandoe and held at the Olde Ale House in
Mechanicsburg.
Pocono Driving School:
Gary
will have all the information at the monthly membership
meeting.
SCCA
AutoX: We had a
very good turnout for this event.
The board thanks everyone that helped the club with
this event.
40th
Anniversary Car Raffle:
The details of purchasing a car were discussed.
A committee of 4 was formed of the following people.
Bill Grove, Marlin Ludt, Jim McCarthy and Karen Ross.
If there are any others that wish to help this
committee please contact anyone of them.
Ken found a convertible at a dealer in Maryland.
Price $20,500.00.
The committee is making arrangements to go look at
it.
A
motion was made by Dave, seconded by Mike and passed by all
to give Marlinand Jim Power of Attorney for anything that
has to be done for the duration of the Raffle.
It
has been mentioned to have a club photo taken for our 40th
year. We would like your input on this.
Chip
Miller Memorial:
We have had one drawing submitted for the static
cling memorial for Chip.
Dave did the drawing and Ken will take it to have it
made up.
Carlisle
Summer Fair Parade:
We have been invited to participate again this year,
however it falls on our monthly meeting night again.
Ken will talk to Mike & Tracy to see which date
they would like to host the picnic meeting.
The
next meeting will be held at the Olde Ale House June 15th
at 7:00 P.M.
