FEBRUARY -- MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETING FEBRUARY 5th, 2004 The
monthly meeting was opened by President Sandoe. A
motion was made by Mr. Glatfelter,
seconded by Mr. Wolf and passed by a voice vote to accept
the Secretary's minutes for the month of January. Gary
gave the Treasurer's report.
A motion was made by Mr. Ludt,
seconded by Mr. Kiser, passed by a voice vote to accept the
Treasurer's report. Dave
gave the Governor's report. February
21st and 22nd is the Motorama at the
Farm Show building. If
you would like to participate contact Dave for info. G-Burg
Vettes is having
a Dual Rallye on March 13th.
Dave has flyers. May
1st is the annual Spina Bifida Fly-in.
Same location as last year. May
9th we will have a AutoX with SCCA at Pharo’s
Truck Stop. FIRST

A motion was made by Mr.
Bowen, seconded by Mr. Strayer, passed by a voice vote to
accept into the club. WELCOME
ABOARD!! Joan
was thanked for her hard work along with her committee for
the great job they done with the Holiday Party.
In return Joan thanked everyone for the cards and
e-mails sent to her telling her what a terrific time they
had and praises on the cute skit that members of the club
put on for us. The
trip to Bube’s Brewery is April 16th, Joan must
have your money by March 5th if you plan to
attend. Please
make your reservations if you plan to take the trip to
Charlestown W.Va. Faye
has flyer in newsletter. March
13th Fox 43 needs 4 cars for parades.
Contact Mr. Chronister
if you wish to do this. Fox 43 would like a green vette and a white vette. Don’t
forget to bring a door prize (1per person) to the Awards
Banquet which is April 3rd.
Sign-up sheet was sent around at the meeting.
If you plan to attend contact Bill or Ron. Pocono
Driving School is filled.
Dave has a waiting list, but we still have open
spaces for club members.
If you plan to go contact Dave ASAP as he will give
those spaces to the people on the waiting list. We
will be having another AutoX at Pharo’s Truck Stop on July
25th. This
is double
sanctioned. Keith
is having a summer cruise July 31 and Aug. 1.
Info in newsletter. Hooter’s
on the Carlisle Pike has asked us to have a sanctioned
event. The date
is Saturday Aug. 7th.
This is a new place for us and we want a good turn
out from our club. So
please plan to attend. Mr.
Land, a
new club member and member of Mason Dixon Club, has asked us
to participate in a Drag event with the Mason Dixon Club.
We took a vote at the club meeting to see if this was
acceptable and it was passed.
So the date that Jerry is going to ask for is April
17th with a rain date of May 1st.
A motion was made by Mr. Walter,
seconded by Mr. Marteny and passed by a voice vote that once
the dates are locked in we will contribute 50% of the fee up
front. If you
are interested there will be a sign-up sheet at the March
meeting. Rita
announced that Joe Henry is in good spirits and thanked
everyone for their cards and well wishes during his
recovery. He is
still undergoing treatments so I am sure he would appreciate
still hearing from all of you. THERE’S
GOING TO BE A WEDDING!! We
are invited to the wedding of Karen & Jack. Date – June 20th at Lamont Farms.
Karen will have a sign-up sheet and more info later,
but you must bring your Corvette. Bill
announced we have 28 rooms blocked at The Dunes Motor Lodge
in Ocean City for the Corvette weekend.

FEBRUARY -- MONTHLY BOARD MEETING February 17, 2004 President
Sandoe called the February Board meeting to order. Awards
Banquet: All
things were ordered for the banquet. Bill has asked anyone attending to get your reservation and
food choices to him asap.
He will need the money at March meeting. Pocono
Driving School:
There are 2 rooms available out of the 30 we have
blocked at the Ramada, but you should be able to get a room
even if those 2 are taken. Rufe
Chevrolet Show April 10th:
Ed has everything under control.
Just don’t forget to bring your pictures to him at
the March meeting. Hooters
Mechanicsburg Show:
This show will be Saturday August 7th.
Hooters has ask us to take care of the trophies and
they will give special trophies away.
This will not be a long day we must be out of there
by 3:00. Keith's
Summer Overnight
Cruise:
Keith reported to us on his cruise which will be July
31 & Aug. 1st.
He will have the particulars at the March meeting. The
Treasurer sent a $250.00 deposit to Mason Dixon club for our
half of the Drag Strip rental. The
meeting was adjourned. Respectfully
