SEPTEMBER 2004

Thursday, September 2nd.  Monthly CVCC membership meeting at the Elks in Carlisle starting at 7:30 PM.  Money is due tonight for the Renaissance Faire.  (PA-100)

Friday, September 10th.  Mini Grand Prix Party at Carl's home.  Directions to one's home should not be public info on this site, so please consult the club directory for the address and go to www.mapquest.com and submit the address to Mapquest.

Saturday, September 11th.  Mini Grand Prix at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Please be there by 8:30 AM.  The best way to get to the Village on the day of the event (and avoid heavy traffic within Elizabethtown), is to take Route 441 (south from Middletown and north from Columbia).  Drive to the general area of Bruner's Island, where Route 241 intersects Route 441.  Turn east (away from the Susquehanna River).  The Village is located on the west side of Elizabethtown.  Therefore, before you enter Elizabethtown, look for the Masonic Village on your left.  You should be on Bainbridge Street of Elizabethtown when you see the Village.  It will be a let turn into the Masonic Village from Route 241/Bainbridge Street.  (200)

Tuesday, September 21st.   Monthly CVCC Board meeting starting at 7:00 PM.  This will be at:  Ye Olde Ale House, 5002 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg.  Phone:  717-763-8929.

Saturday, September 25th.  Fall Cruise & Bicentennial Parade.  Cruise to Ulysses, PA, and participate in their 200th birthday celebration/parade.  Meet that mornig at Tractor Supply (TSC) (which is adjacent WalMart, near to the Elks) in Carlisle at 7:30 AM.  If you wish to have breakfast with some early risers, meet at the Cracker Barrel, off I81 in Carlisle, at 6:30 AM.  This may become an overnight trip and include the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.  For further details call or see Bill G. or Gary M.  (50)

Saturday, September 25th.  Shippensburg Homecoming.   In addition to those signed up, four more Corvettes are needed.  Meet at the usual place at 9:15 AM.  Contact E. Hare for details and information on where the "usual" place is.  (50)

Thursday, September 30th/Friday, October 1st.     Northeastern Parade/Homecoming.  Ten to  twelve Corvettes are needed each night.  Thursday is the parade.  Friday is Homecoming.  If you can help, call Mr. Marteny.  Time to meet is not available.  (50+50).
