Thursday, April 1st. Monthly CVCC membership meeting at the Elks in Carlisle starting at 7:30 PM. (PA-100) Saturday, April 3rd. Awards Banquet. Join CVCC and the Eastern Region for a night of food, partying, and awards. It all happens at the Elks, 120 West Ridge Street, Carlisle. The agenda, menu and prices for the evening are shown below. Awards will be presented by the Eastern Region to its top competitors for last year. And CVCC has quite a few of its own who will be honored. This will be followed by an awards presentation by CVCC to its members. Afterwards, a DJ will spin the tunes until midnight. Bring a door prize! Whatever you wish to bring -- it doesn't have to be a "car" gizmo. We will give away all the door prizes throughout the evening. (PA-100) 6:00 PM -- Social Hour 7:00 PM -- Dinner. $35 - Surf and Turf (Both 8 oz.) $20 - Filet (8 oz.) $15 - Stuffed Chicken Breast 8:00 PM -- Presentation of Awards 9:00 PM -- Dancing to DJ Reservations/payment due in advance and must be paid by March TBD. Please reserve by telephoning Mr. Grove and/or mailing your check to him, payable to CVCC. You can also reserve/pay at the March Monthly Membership Meeting. Saturday, April 10th. CVCC Spring Concours at Rufe Chevrolet. This will be CVCC's first sanction of the year 2004. It's a Friday night at Bube's Brewery. Dinner and show. The theme is Pirates of the Caribbean. $31 per person. 7:00 PM. Bube's is located at 102 North Market Street, Mt. Joy. Sign up with the Social Committee on or before Mar. 5th. Join Mason-Dixon CC at the Mason-Dixon Drag-A-Way for a morning of competitive drag racing. 8 AM to Noon. $50 per car (two drivers per car max.). Entries will be limited to first 50 cars. Application should be mailed in and can be found by clicking on FLYER below. Rain date is May 15th. Click on Drags FLYER for more information. Tuesday, April 20th. Monthly CVCC Board meeting starting at 7:00 PM. The location of this meeting will be decided at the March board meeting. Saturday/Sunday, April 25th & 26th. CVCC Pocono Driving School. The school is full. Sign up sheets are circulating for you to volunteer as a worker. CVCC will be staying at the Ramada Inn this year. Call 1-570-443-8471 to make your reservation and mention Event 60013-65 to receive a rate of $75 per night per room. (200 per day)
