Wednesday, October 1st. Homecoming Parade at Northeastern High School. Nine cars. (50) October 3rd, 4th, 5th. OC Weekend. The Dunes still has rooms available. Call Laurie Cauland at 1-800-523-2888 to reserve your room. (50) Friday, October 3rd. Homecoming at Cumberland Valley High School. (50) Friday, October 3rd. Homecoming at Northeastern High School. Round Two. Nine cars. (50) Saturday, October 4th. Homecoming at York Catholic High School. 11:30 AM. Contact the club treasurer if you can help. (50) Thursday, October 9th. Monthly CVCC membership meeting at the Elks in Carlisle starting at 7:30 PM. Please note the change in date for this meeting. This meeting has been re-scheduled to avoid a conflict with the OC Weekend. (PA-100) Friday, October 10th. Speed Channel presents an hour long special on "Corvettes at Carlisle" @ 8:00 PM. Friday, October 17th. Last day to reserve for "A Dickens of a Christmas" on December 6th and 7th. For further information, please proceed to the calendar for December. Saturday, October 18th. Dillsburg Farmers Fair Parade. CVCC has been invited back. The rally point for the parade is the alley behind what was the old Rearick Lumber. The same place we were last year. The buildings are now owned by ECI Contractors. The entrance to the alley is off of Welty Street by the Fisher Storage Facility. We are supposed to be there between 5:30 and 7:00 PM. The lady who is head of theparade said it would be best if we were there by 6:00 PM because they will then start to close the streets. BRING YOUR VETTE!!! (50) Saturday, October 18th. Homecoming at Shippensburg University. Time and meeting place TBD. 10 cars. (50 Sunday, October 19th. CVCC Fall Cruise. We will meet at 9:00 AM at the Sunnyway Food Store, Route 30 West at Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg (Route 30 exit off Interstate 81). There will be one rest stop before arriving at our destination of Cumberland, Maryland. We will be eating a buffet dinner at Town Hill Restaurant. The buffet will include beef and chicken and is priced at approximately $21 per person. Non-alcoholic beverages are available at the restaurant. You may bring your own. Please contact Jack Irby, because a count is needed for dinner. (50) Tuesday, October 21st. Monthly CVCC Board meeting at the Grove's starting at 7:30 PM. Saturday, October 25th. CVCC Fun Show and Funkhana at Rufe Chevrolet, Carlisle. This will be CVCC's seventh sanctioned event of the year. Click on FLYER and/or EVENT for more information. (PA-200).
