SEPTEMBER --  MONTHLY BOARD MEETING

The Board meeting was held at the home of the Ludt's on September 16th and opened by the President.  All ten of the officers and board members were present.  Also attending were members of the Social  Committee.

Rufe Show - We still need donated items for the auction.  Please get them to Marlin or Bill as soon as possible.

Fall Cruise - October 19th.  More info at next monthly meeting.

November 1 Penn National Outing.

NEWSLETTER - Since the majority still wants to receive the newsletter by mail instead of reading it on our web site, we discussed going out and getting ads to be put into the newsletter from businesses to help pay for the cost.  This will be brought up at the monthly meeting for discussion.

Pocono -- Dates are April 24th & 25th.

The  Board also discussed having the board meetings at a central location (like a restaurant with separate room) instead of traveling to each home.  Nothing concrete on this yet.

Since our club is so large, at the monthly membership meeting the Board is going to recommend changing the number of board members from 4 to 5.  We must give an advanced notice to all members.  This is the advanced notice.  So we will be voting for 5 board members in November.

The Board approved giving the Social Committee $430.00 for down payments for the Holiday Party and deposit for a bus trip next year.

The Board also went over the sanctions for next year.

The next board meeting wil be held October 21st at the home of the Grove's.

Respectfully submitted,

CVCC Club Secretary
