JULY --  MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The monthly meeting was opened by the President.

A motion and second were made to accept the Meeting Minutes of the June Membership Meeting.  A voice vote approved the motion.

The Treasurer reported the financial activity of the club for June.  A motion and second were made to accept the Treasurer's Report.  A voice vote approved the motion.

The Governor gave his report.

The Governor posted the NCCC standings for the club and individuals for everyone to see.

The club still needs workers for the NCCC Convention at the Summit Point race track on August 18th and 19th.  Contact the Governor if you can help.

The Governor reminded everyone that the events at Corvettes at Carlisle (i.e., YCCC Concours and CVCC Rallye) will be awarding Eastern Region points but not national points.

The Governor mentioned that there will be a Fall Cruise on October 19th.  We will be starting from the Chambersburg area.  More info. to follow.

The Cruisers and Waxers report was given.  A copy will be in the newsletter.

The President reminded everyone to please don't forget to sign up for the H&H Show and to please sign up by August 30th.  There is limited space, but club members can still sign up the day of the show for the same price.

After the H&H show the club is invited to a member's home for a picnic, but this year it will be for club members only.

Ocean City weekend is October 4, 5, 6 this year.  If you plan to attend, call for your reservations ASAP.  The Dunes is where most of the club will be staying.

Two of our club members have made a Corvette quilt.  It will be raffled off at the Rufe Show in October.  They will start selling the tickets at Corvette's at Carlisle.

The President would like anyone who is not on our e-mail list and wishes to be to contact him with your e-mail address.

I would like to thank those of you who sent cards and flowers to me during my recent surgery.  A special thanks to the members who sent the goodie bag to me.  It was a clever idea which I enjoyed.  Judy.

The President thanked the Vice President and Secretary for hosting the picnic meeting tonight.  In turn, our hosts thanked those who helped prepare for the July Picnic Meeting, especially Mr. and Mrs. Treasurer -- Gary for cooking and Nancy helping get the table's ready.  It was greatly appreciated.

A motion was put to the club to purchase four new folding tables.  Our tables are in such bad shape that we really need new ones.  A motion was made and seconded and passed by a voice vote to buy the tables.

A motion and second were made to adjourn.  A voice vote approved the motion.

Respectfully submitted,

CVCC Secretary
