MARCH --  MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The monthly meeting was opened by the President.

A motion and second was made to accept the Meeting Minutes of the February Membership Meeting.  A voice vote approved the motion.

The Treasurer reported the financial activity of the club for February.  A motion and second was made to accept the Treasurer's Report.  A voice vote approved the motion.

The Governor reported that NCCC has split the C5 class.  The Z06's will have a class of their own for speed events.  All upcoming events for the Eastern Region are on our web site (Go to the Calendar.)  You can check there for the events you wish to do.  If you do not have access to the web, contact the Governor for the flyers and other info.

There were 2 First Readings (one single/one couple) but no Second Readings for new members.

The Social Committee reported on upcoming events.

Massanutten Trip May 3 & 4:  You will be meeting at Exit 5 off I81 South.  Deadline for reservations is April 4th.

Allenberry Play and Dinner:  Friday, May 30.  The show is "Honky Tonk Angels".  Cost $38.00 per person.  Must have money paid by the April meeting.

Ocean City Weekend October 3,4, & 5:  The Dune's has lower rates for us.  For those who are staying in the West Building, the rate for a week night is $29.00 and for a weekend night (i.e., Fri or Sat) is $45.00.  The corresponding rates in the East Building are $59.00 and $79.00.  Those of you who booked your rooms while you were there last year need to call them to get this better rate.

Pocono Driving School is full.  There is now a waiting list.

Interest was expressed in doing a Spring Cruise on May 10th.   It was approved by everyone.

May 3rd is the Spina Bifida Fly-In.  Flyers are available from the Governor.  A motion and second were made to give our donation from the parades and homecomings to Spina Bifida that day.  A voice vote approved the motion.

June 1st is our double sanctioned AutoX for Corvettes only at Pharo's Truck Stop.  Location is Exit 29 off I81 south.

The Gettysburg Fun Show that was scheduled for July 13th has been canceled.

A motion and second were made to again have an autoX with SCCA.  A voice vote approved the motion.

The Club is looking into having a Fun AutoX just for CVCC members.

Again, for those of you who have access to the web.  The minutes from every meeting will be on our web site.  We are trying to cut costs of the newsletter by getting everyone to use the web site for Club information.  If you are willing to do this, instead of getting the newsletter mailed to you, please let the President know and he will have your name removed from the mailing list.

The Club wants everyone with name tags to start wearing them to everything.  We have so many new members now, and it hard to remember names.  It is also easier for the new members to get to know us.  A motion and second were made to buy the name tags for those who do not have them.  A voice vote did not approve the motion.  The cost of the name tags is only about $6.00.

REMINDERS!!  If you have an email address and would like it put in our club directory (or you have a change in your email address), please contact the individual listed on the "Officers" page responsible for the club directory.

The Sign-up sheet WILL be on the table (as you enter the meeting room).  Please make sure you sign in so you get your club points.

We have volunteers to drive for the Fox 43 parade in York.  Thanks.

The Board meeting for March will now be at the Governor's home.  Please make note of this change.

A motion and second was made to accept adjourn.  A voice vote approved the motion.

Respectfully submitted,

CVCC Secretary

MARCH --  MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
